Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Finance, or related field.
• 1–4 years of experience in purchasing, administrative support, or related field.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, JD Edwards) is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate supplier onboarding and ensure records are complete and compliant.
• Onboard new items into procurement and ERP systems with pricing and data.Assign material numbers per naming conventions and data standards.
• Create and track purchase orders for projects and operations within budgets.
• Collect and analyze supplier and product data for reporting.
• Support sourcing events by gathering quotations and coordinating communications.
• Identify opportunities to improve procurement workflows and data quality.
• Maintain supplier agreements administration and document retention.
• Collaborate with procurement and cross-functional teams to meet objectives.

Key Essential Functions/Duties

• Facilitate supplier onboarding and ensure required records are complete and accurate and within compliance standards.
• Facilitate accurate and timely onboarding of new items into procurement and ERP systems, including collecting pricing, specifications, and master data requirements to ensure data integrity and readiness for commercialization.
• Assign material numbers in accordance with company naming conventions and data standards.
• Manage the creation and tracking of purchase orders for projects, capital expenditures, and operational needs, ensuring alignment with budgets, timelines and procurement policies.
• Collect, maintain, and analyze supplier and product information for reporting purposes. This can include supplier diversity, country of origin, spend analysis, and compliance metrics.
• Work with the procurement team on sourcing events by gathering quotations, coordinating supplier communications, and maintaining sourcing documentation.
• Identify and facilitate actions related to opportunities to improve procurement workflows, data quality, and operational efficiency.
• Maintain and update the administrative management of supplier agreements, including document retention and record maintenance.
• Collaborate with Procurement Specialists and cross-functional teams to support sourcing initiatives and business objectives.

Education/Experience/Skills/Qualifications (required)

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Finance, or related field.
• 1-4 years of experience in purchasing, administrative support, or related field.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Outlook Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, JD Edwards).
• Experience with food manufacturing.
• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite.
