Job summary

Kinder Morgan, Inc. offers a summer internship through the BOLT program to gain hands-on experience in the energy industry. You will shadow procurement team members and work with internal customers and vendors on day-to-day purchasing processes.

Throughout the internship you will perform analyses such as commodity forecasting and historical spend, plus ERP data cleanup tasks like closing out purchase orders, while developing your professional and interpersonal skills.

Qualifications

• Student in Information Systems, Data Analytics, or Supply Chain.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience with Excel pivot tables and data analysis is valuable.

Responsibilities

• Shadow Procurement team members and learn day-to-day purchasing processes.
• Work with internal customers and vendors to resolve issues.
• Perform analyses such as commodity forecasting, historical spend, and other KPIs.
• Assist with ERP data cleanup tasks, such as closing out purchase orders.
