Job summary

Kinder Morgan's BOLT Intern Program offers a hands‑on summer experience in the energy sector through meaningful projects in the Application Development department. You will collaborate on solutions that respect hardware/software constraints, delivering results with presentable outputs.

The role requires pursuing a BS in Computer Science, MIS or related field, with exposure to Winforms, .NET and MS SQL, and strong teamwork and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Working toward Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, MIS or related degree.
• Experience in Winforms, .NET and MS SQL is recommended.
• Individuals must be team players and communicate effectively with technical and non‑technical audiences.
• Entering either the sophomore, junior or senior year of college. Senior students must be graduating in December 2027 or later to be eligible.

Responsibilities

• Work in a team environment to deliver solutions using proper techniques and presentation while considering hardware/software limitations, response times and system capabilities.
• Coding, testing, documentation, demonstrations, reporting, and process improvements.
• Use Power BI, Visual Studio, SQL Server Management Studio, and ADO DevOps while applying VB.NET, C#.NET, MVC, ASP.NET, HTML5, JavaScript, or T‑SQL to accomplish tasks.
