Canteen North America is hiring a Procurement Analyst to source products, manage suppliers, and optimize inventory for vending and micro-market operations. You will leverage data, forecasting, and market insights to drive cost savings and ensure product availability.

Responsibilities include analyzing purchasing data, negotiating with suppliers, forecasting demand, and collaborating with operations, finance, and sales teams to align purchasing with business goals. This is an in-office role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain, procurement, finance or related field preferred.
• Experience in procurement, purchasing, inventory management, or supply chain operations.
• Strong analytical, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent Excel skills and experience with online purchasing or inventory management systems.
• Excellent communication and relationship management abilities.
• Experience in vending, foodservice, convenience retail, or distribution environments preferred.

Responsabilités

• Analyze purchasing, inventory, and sales data to identify trends and support buying decisions.
• Negotiate pricing, contracts, rebates, and promotions with suppliers to maximize value.
• Develop and maintain strong vendor relationships while monitoring supplier performance, service levels, and lead times.
• Forecast demand and manage inventory levels to minimize stockouts, overstocks, and product obsolescence.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities through product substitutions, strategic sourcing, and spend analysis.
• Monitor market conditions, pricing trends, and supply chain risks that may impact product availability and cost.
• Track and report key performance metrics including inventory turns, fill rates, forecast accuracy, and purchase price variance.
• Collaborate with operations, warehouse, sales, merchandising, and finance teams to align purchasing strategies with business needs.
• Support new product launches, seasonal programs, and promotional initiatives.
• Recommend process improvements that enhance efficiency, inventory control, and profitability.
