Job summary

Summary

You will serve as a Procurement Analyst in the Contracting Department of NAVSUP FLC NORVA GF.

Duties

You will serve as a Procurement Analyst in the Contracting Department of NAVSUP FLC NORVA GF.

Requirements

In addition to the Basic Requirements for this position, your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-13) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector a mastery knowledge of procurement, contracting, and negotiation methods to ensure regulations and requirements are met for compliance. Specialized experience must include the following:

  • 1.)Directing and managing contract acquisition and oversight to include customer service, coordination, and liaison;
  • 2.) Developing and presenting point papers, briefs, reports, recommendations, and other items for direct presentation to senior officials;
  • 4.) Maintaining overarching responsibility for customer contract requirements, analyzing procurement trends, and facilitating development of programmatic acquisition strategies;
  • 5.) Designing and conducting a comprehensive corporate strategy for achieving desired outcomes through effective and efficient contracting and strategic sourcing for required services and material.;
  • 6.)Determining and weighing alternate courses of action, considering short and long term implications;
  • 7.) Full range of pre-award and post-award functions to include determining and weighing alternate courses of action, considering short and long term implications.
