Job summary

SHI International Corp. in Somerset, NJ is seeking a Procurement Analyst to help customers reduce software licensing risk and manage renewals within the IT Asset Management team.

You will collaborate with customer procurement and ITAM contacts, prepare EULA amendments, track upcoming renewals, and optimize spend through SHI's Maintenance Renewal Optimization program.

Qualifications

• Completed Bachelor's Degree in a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a customer service role.
• Preferred software licensing experience or Inside Sales background; ServiceNow experience.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with customer Procurement and ITAM contacts and SHI sales teams on renewal lists and reporting requirements.
• Reduce risk by preparing EULA amendments based on customer terms.
• Ensure EULA Risk Mitigation aligns with SOW requirements and maintain review database.
• Coordinate with Procurement and ITAM to assess maintenance renewals and optimize spend.
• Maintain renewal reports, cost savings trackers, and forecasted cost savings.
• Proactively contact customers at least 90 days before renewal to assess needs.
• Support other SHI ITSO business to maintain organized software licensing.

This role also supports customers in managing software renewals and identifying opportunities to reduce spend through Maintenance Renewal Optimization. This position reports to the ITSO Procurement Solutions Manager within the IT Asset Management (ITAM) department.**Role Description** * Collaborate with customer Procurement and/or Information Technology Asset Management (ITAM) contacts, as well as SHI sales teams, regarding customer renewal lists, internal and external processes, and reporting requirements.* Reduce customer risk associated with software publisher EULAs by preparing EULA letter amendments based on customer-provided terms to obtain vendor agreement and signature.* Ensure the EULA Risk Mitigation process is completed in accordance with the requirements outlined in the customer's Statement of Work (SOW).* Maintain a database of EULAs previously reviewed under the program.* Deliver SHI's Maintenance Renewal Optimization program by coordinating with customer Procurement teams, IT Asset Management teams, and end-user contacts to assess maintenance renewals and optimize customer spend.* Maintain customer reports related to renewals and spend optimization.* Track upcoming existing customer renewals, projected renewals, and forecasted cost savings.* Maintain individual customer-specific cost savings trackers, as well as team-wide, customer-specific cost savings reports.* Proactively contact the company's IT Spend Optimization customers at least 90 days in advance of renewal dates to evaluate their renewal needs.* Utilize all available resources to help customers make informed decisions regarding what they need to renew.* Conduct customer calls on a regular cadence with both internal and external customers.* Adhere to all applicable customer-specific Service Level Agreements (SLAs).* Support other lines of ITSO business as needed to promote organized software licensing and purchasing environments for customers. **Behaviors and Competencies*** Multi-Tasking: Can identify opportunities for task optimization, propose solutions, and manage multiple tasks without explicit instructions.* Organization: Can prioritize daily tasks, manage personal workflow, and utilize basic tools to keep track of responsibilities.* Self-Motivation: Can identify personal or professional growth opportunities, propose self-improvement strategies, and take action without explicit instructions.* Initiative: Can identify opportunities for improvement, propose solutions, and take action without explicit instructions.* Adaptability: Can adjust to changes in the work environment, manage multiple tasks, and effectively handle uncertainty.* Communication: Can effectively communicate complex ideas and information, and can adapt communication style to the audience.* Problem-Solving: Can identify problems, propose solutions, and take action to resolve them without explicit instructions.* Teamwork: Can work effectively in a team, contributing ideas and effort, and respecting the contributions of others.* Time Management: Can generally use time effectively and is working towards improving task prioritization and deadline management.* Presenting: Can prepare and deliver presentations, addressing key points and responding to questions with clarity. **Skill Level Requirements*** Strong written and verbal communication skills.* Strong problem-solving, organizational, and interpersonal skills.* Flexibility and ability to adapt as the role evolves.* Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.* Self-motivated with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, constantly changing environment while adhering to customer SLAs.* Strong time management skills.* Excellent follow-up skills.* Highly organized with strong attention to responsibilities and deadlines.* Excellent negotiation skills. **Other Requirements*** Completed Bachelor's Degree in a related field, or relevant work experience required* Minimum of 1 year of experience in a customer service role. **Preferred*** Software licensing experience or an Inside Sales background.* ServiceNow experience.The estimated annual pay range for this position is $57,000 - $85,000 which includes a base salary. The compensation for this position is dependent on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and market location and, therefore, will vary from individual to individual.
