Qualifications

• High School diploma is required.
• US citizenship is required.
• 2+ years of prior experience purchasing IT products and professional services.
• Knowledge of procurement platforms such as Coupa, Ivalua, and Costpoint is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Review purchase requisitions for accuracy and compliance with procurement policies.
• Create, process, and manage Purchase Orders (POs) within the procurement system.
• Assist in supplier negotiations to secure favorable pricing and terms.
• Confirm supplier payment terms and align with internal financial policies.
• Collaborate with Finance, Operations, and other stakeholders to clarify requirements and resolve inquiries.
• Support invoice and payment resolution by addressing discrepancies with suppliers and Accounts Payable.
• Maintain supplier records, contracts, and data for accuracy and accessibility.
• Conduct basic spend analysis to identify cost saving opportunities and trends.

Summary

The Ash Group is hiring a Procurement Analyst (24648) for our client, a global leader providing advanced systems and support in defense, aerospace, and security. This is a 12-month contract position working in Falls Church, VA (Hybrid). We are offering a pay rate up to $40/hr W2 based on skill set.

• Compensation: Up to $40/hr W2
• Benefits: Medical, dental, vision, and direct primary care benefits. After six months of employment, enjoy a 4% matched 401(k) plan with immediate 100% vesting.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Procurement Analyst supports the procurement team by reviewing purchase requirements, preparing purchase orders, coordinating with suppliers, and ensuring that purchasing activities follow company policies and meet internal stakeholder needs.
• Review purchase requisitions for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with procurement policies and procedures.
• Create, process, and manage Purchase Orders (POs) within the company’s procurement system.
• Assist in supplier negotiations to secure competitive pricing, favorable terms, and quality service.
• Confirm and document supplier payment terms and ensure alignment with internal financial policies.
• Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders, including Finance, Operations, and functional teams, to clarify requirements and resolve procurement related inquiries.
• Support invoice and payment resolution by addressing discrepancies, communicating with suppliers, and coordinating with Accounts Payable.
• Maintain supplier records, contracts, and data to ensure accuracy and accessibility.
• Conduct basic spend analysis to identify cost saving opportunities and trends.
• Help monitor supplier performance and escape issues when needed.
• Support onboarding of new suppliers and ensure required documentation is completed.
