The Charter County of Wayne is seeking an entry-level Procurement Agent 1 to support purchasing and contract administration for Wayne County government. Under supervised direction, the Procurement Agent 1 performs professional work in the technical and administrative functions of the purchasing activities of Wayne County government, including purchasing and contract administration. This position is responsible for the procurement of supplies, materials, equipment and services that are to be conducted in accordance with applicable federal, state and local laws, ordinances, rules and regulations. Direction is received from the Procurement Manager.
