Job summary

The Boeing Company in Tukwila, WA is seeking an Associate Procurement Agent to join Boeing Defense, Space & Security. This role is onsite at Tukwila or Oklahoma City; first shift; U.S. citizenship is required to obtain a security clearance.

You will review demand and supply, draft contracts, support sourcing strategies, and monitor supplier performance. The position is 100% onsite with travel up to 25% and relocation is not provided.

Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) has an exciting opportunity for an Associate Procurement Agent to join our dynamic team in Tukwila, Washington or Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.

Position Responsibilities:

• Performs continuous review and analysis of demand and supply
• Prepares and executes proprietary information agreements
• Supports sourcing strategies, negotiations and documenting of contracts and agreements
• Communicates performance expectations and metrics to evaluate and monitor supplier performance

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

This position is for 1st shift.

This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. (An Interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post Start is required.)

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

• More than 3 years of experience in Supplier Management/ Procurement as a Purchasing Agent or Buyer
• More than 3 years of experience drafting, negotiating and executing complex contracts and subcontracts
• More than 3 years of experience leading proposals, contract terms and conditions development, and negotiation efforts

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

• Bachelor’s degree or higher
• More than 3 years of experience with Supplier Management or Procurement practices and processes
• More than 3 years of experience working directly with suppliers or supplier management
• More than 3 years of experience in proposal development and contract negotiations with U.S. Government Customers

Typical Education/Experience:

Typically 3 or more years’ related work experience or relevant military experience. Advanced degree (e.g. Bachelor, Master, etc.) preferred, but not required.

Summary pay range:

Tukwila, WA - $74,800 - $92,400

Oklahoma City, OK - $64,600 - $79,800
