Job summary

Boeing in Missouri is seeking a Mid-Level Procurement Agent (Level 3) for the Prop A-TG team in Hazelwood or Berkley. This onsite role handles source selection, negotiation, contracting strategies, and risk management, with travel up to 10%.

Mid-Level Procurement Agent (Level 3)

The position is within Prop A-TG (Air Dominant Proprietary) team in Hazelwood or Berkley, Missouri.

Position Responsibilities

• Integrates program, customer, product and program strategies into source selection, negotiation and contracting strategies
• Negotiates pricing and contract terms and conditions

• Manages supply and demand, schedules, supplier quality, delivery and financial performance
• Initiates and executes supplier improvement activities and integrates results into contracting strategies
• Travel expected to be less than 10%

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

This position is for 1st shift.

This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Secret Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. (An Interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post Start is required.)

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience)

• More than 3 years of experience in Supply Chain and/or Supply Chain Management
• More than 3 years of experience in Microsoft Office

• Experience in Customer Service

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience)

• Experience leading supplier terms & conditions and price negotiations
• Experience negotiating price and schedule with suppliers and customers
• Experience using SAP software

Typical Education/Experience

Typically 6 or more years’ related work experience or relevant military experience. Advanced degree (e.g. Bachelor, Master, etc.) preferred, but not required.

Travel

Position may require travel up to 10% of the time.
