Job summary

The Boeing Company in Oklahoma City is seeking an Associate Procurement Agent (Level 2) to support demand and supply analysis, contracts, and supplier management. This 100% on-site role requires strong negotiation skills and experience with procurement processes.

Qualifications include 1+ year in contract negotiations or supplier management, a bachelor’s degree, and willingness to work on DoD-related contracts. Travel up to 10% may be required.

Company: The Boeing Company Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) has an exciting opportunity for an Associate Procurement Agent (Level 2) to join our dynamic team in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.

Position Responsibilities:

• Performs continuous review and analysis of demand and supply
• Prepares and executes proprietary information agreements
• Supports sourcing strategies, negotiations and documenting of contracts and agreements
• Communicates performance expectations and metrics to evaluate and monitor supplier performance

This position is expected to be 100% onsite.

The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

Shift: This position is for 1st shift.

This position must meet export control compliance requirements.

To meet export control compliance requirements, a “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.15 is required. “U.S. Person” includes U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

• More than 1 year of experience in negotiating contracts or managing suppliers
• More than 1 year of experience in Supplier Management/ Procurement as a Purchasing Agent or Buyer.

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

• Bachelor’s degree or higher
• More than 1 year of experience managing suppliers/vendors to deliver products and services.
• More than 1 year of experience with proposal development and contract negotiations.
• More than 1 year of experience working with U.S. Department of Defense contracts.
• More than 1 year of experience with various contract types for example: Time & Materials, Firm Fixed Price, Cost Plus type Government contracts, etc.

Typical Education/Experience:

• Typically 3 or more years’ related work experience or relevant military experience.
• Advanced degree (e.g. Bachelor, Master, etc.) preferred, but not required.
