Job summary

Boeing in Mesa, Arizona is seeking an Associate Procurement Agent to join a team responsible for demand and supply analysis, contract negotiations, and supplier performance management. The role is 100% onsite and may require up to 25% travel.

The ideal candidate will have 3+ years in contracts or procurement, a bachelor2s degree, and experience with government contracts and various contract types. Relocation is not a negotiable benefit.

Associate Procurement Agent to join our dynamic team in Mesa, Arizona.

Position Responsibilities

• Performs continuous review and analysis of demand and supply

• Communicates performance expectations and metrics to evaluate and monitor supplier performance

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience)

• More than 1 year of experience in negotiating contracts or managing suppliers
• More than 1 year of experience in Supplier Management/ Procurement as a Purchasing Agent or Buyer.

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience)

• Bachelor’s degree or higher
• More than 1 year of experience managing suppliers/vendors to deliver products and services.
• More than 1 year of experience with proposal development and contract negotiations.
• More than 1 year of experience working with U.S. Department of Defense contracts.
• More than 1 year of experience with various contract types for example: Time & Materials, Firm Fixed Price, Cost Plus type Government contracts, etc.

Typical Education/Experience: Typically 3 or more years’ related work experience or relevant military experience. Advanced degree (e.g. Bachelor, Master, etc.) preferred, but not required.

Relocation

Travel

Position may require travel up to 25% of the time.
