Job summary

Boeing offers a contract assignment through a Boeing-approved third party for the duration of the project. The selected candidate must pass a credit check performed by Boeing Security prior to onboarding.

You will integrate program, customer, product and in-service strategies into sourcing, negotiation and contracting efforts. Responsibilities include negotiating pricing and terms, preparing contractual documents and managing risk, supplier quality, delivery and financial performance.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Materials and Standards.
• Boeing experience is a huge plus.

This posting is for a contract assignment and is not a full-time employment offer with Boeing. Candidates selected for roles will be employed as contract workers through a Boeing approved 3rd party for the duration of the specified project.

The candidate selected to fill this assignment must successfully pass a credit check performed by Boeing Security. Suppliers, refer to your Supplier Guide for information on this requirement.

Integrates program, customer, product and in-service strategies into source selection, negotiation and contracting strategies. Negotiates pricing and contract terms and conditions. Prepares and executes negotiated contractual documents and binding agreements. Conducts risk, issues and opportunities management. Manages supply and demand, schedules, supplier quality, delivery and financial performance. Initiates and executes supplier improvement activities and integrates results into contracting strategies.

Day to day: In this role you will be supporting Materials & Standards. The role is focused on the Project Manager statement of work. You will be collaborating and integrating with various teams to complete projects aligned to the category. You will play a key role in ensuring that our supply chain organization is efficient, effective, and aligned with the overall goals of the organization

Requirements: 1. 5+ years of experience of Materials and Standards experience 2. Boeing experience is a huge plus
