Job summary

Howmet Aerospace Inc. seeks a 1st Shift Processing Tech I at its City of Industry, California site. The role requires basic shop math, reading and following instructions in English, and the ability to lift up to 30 pounds while learning measurement tools.

You will join a team dedicated to aerospace fasteners manufacturing, with opportunities for certification in lock out/tag out and growth within a global company that values safety, quality, and teamwork.

• Ability to become certified in lock out/tag out.
• Be familiar with Human Performance tasks.

Responsibilities

Howmet Fastening Systems (HFS) is seeking a1st Shift, Processing Tech Ifor our City of Industry, California location.

Born from many well-known and long-standing brands, Howmet Fastening Systems, headquartered in Torrance, California, is the premier designer and manufacturer of aerospace and industrial fasteners, latches, fluid fittings and installation tools. Our products are used nose to tail on commercial and military aircraft, as well as on jet engines, industrial gas turbines, automobiles, commercial transportation vehicles, wind turbines, solar power systems, and construction and industrial equipment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

• Employee must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.

Preferred Qualifications:

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred

Benefits/Salary:
