About The Role
The Processing Technician will assist with the harvest, processing, and production of high-quality cannabis, including cleaning and maintaining laboratory‑grade equipment, recording and entering data in multiple forms, and completing other tasks delegated by management. The position offers a collaborative work environment and a comprehensive benefits package.
How You’ll Make a Difference
- Adhere to specific quality control SOPs regarding procedural operations and product quality.
- Maintain a sanitary and clean work environment.
- Comply with SOPs and New York State guidance on proper disposal methods for solvent and cannabis‑contaminated waste.
- Perform general routine/daily maintenance on Dry‑Cure equipment.
- Wash and sanitize all surfaces, containers, and equipment.
- Record all cleaning activities in daily logs.
- Maintain and log all data sheets for chemicals and products physically and digitally.
- Communicate effectively with the Management Team to ensure operational needs are met and procedural problems are addressed and resolved proactively.
- Show openness to constructive criticism and offer guidance to others in the Dry‑Cure department and across the facility.
- Work a varying schedule that may include nights, weekends, and overtime as required by process demands.
- Arrive on time for each shift and take breaks/lunch as scheduled.
- Assist in other departments or perform other duties as assigned.
Skills To Be Successful
- High school diploma or equivalent – required.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in horticulture, botany, or a related field – required.
- Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and resolve plant health or equipment issues independently – required.

Additional Qualifications
- Must meet the minimum age requirement per Company policy.

- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Skilled in navigating and accurately utilizing the company’s seed‑to‑sale tracking software (where applicable).

Schedule
- Available to work Monday‑Friday, 7:00 am to 3:30 pm ET, with flexibility for mandatory overtime as required to meet business needs.
- Schedule subject to change as business needs.
Work Environment And Physical Demands
The work environment is a manufacturing setting that requires extended standing, walking, bending, and reaching. The employee may need to carry up to 50 lbs for up to a distance of 100 ft, manipulate small objects repeatedly, and work in a humid and pollinated environment.
