Job description

Processing Team Member – Sauce, 2 nd Shift

At Torani, we’re kicking off an exciting new chapter on our journey toward the $1 Billion vision - and we’re looking for passionate team members to join the journey. We’re building a brand-new, world-class manufacturing operation from the ground up. We’re introducing new technologies and building the systems that will power Torani’s next generation of growth. This is your chance to join in day one, be part of something exciting, and help shape the future of how we make and deliver flavor around the world.

We’re looking for team players who are proactive, collaborative, and always thinking a step ahead. We’re seeking Processing team members to help us on this journey who will ensure the right ingredients are in the right tank at the right time so that delicious, high quality Torani sauce can be bottled, every time.

As a member of our first‑ever sauce production team, you proactively engage in critical process communications, and your mechanical aptitude is showcased as you operate multiple equipment areas and ensure a job well done. Whether you are checking the viscosity and color of a batch or monitoring time-sensitive ingredients, you are recognized as an integral part of the team! If you’re ready to grow with our people‑first organization and make a real impact, we can’t wait to meet you!

Success Factors (First 12–24 Months)
  • Mechanical Aptitude: You’ve helped ensure that our kettles, agitators and pumps are running optimally and the batches are flowing through. Your ability to troubleshoot our equipment, from temperature probes to flow meters, allows you to support our maintenance team by quickly resolving straightforward equipment issues affecting processing and pasteurization.
  • Safety First: You’ve maintained a safe, hygienic work environment with zero safety incidents by consistently applying GMPs, allergen management, and sanitation standards. You’ve demonstrated care for your teammates’ safety and reinforced safe practices at every step. You safely and effectively operate machinery and equipment – always remembering to stay attentive to your task at hand. Your movement through the Flavor Factory demonstrates your acute awareness of your surroundings, ensuring your safety and the safety of fellow team members.
  • Communication: As the “Conductor of Communication” you have been perfectly in tune with what’s happened in processing, with our ingredients and the manufacturing floor. You have effectively communicated to your critical partners at the Filler and proactively communicated timely information to support making the manufacturing team run like a well‑oiled machine!
  • Continuous Improvement and Sauce Startup: Your motto has been “Blend it right the first time!” Your working knowledge of thermal processing coupled with your high level of automation proficiency allowed you to cook sauces to our defined quality and sensory standards. By effectively evaluating batches and making real time decisions there is minimal scrap in our bottling operations. You’ve effectively managed our critical control points and focused on key quality characteristics through checking, viscosity, color and allergens.
  • Ownership Hero: You have taken ownership of the consistent flow of flavor to our lines, and the flavor is flowing! Through proactive collaboration with your scheduling partners, and intimate understanding of the thermal batching process, you have been flexible and nimble, and kept a keen eye on our strict food safety and quality standards. You oversee the progression of the sauce from batch processing through quality checks to sensory. You are trusted to work independently with batching systems, pasteurizers, and time-sensitive ingredients like butter and cream, while also coordinating effectively with filler operators and adapting to shifting priorities.
