Job summary

Torani, Inc. in San Leandro, CA, is launching a brand-new sauce production operation and seeking eager, proactive team members for the 1st shift. You’ll participate in bottling, capping, labeling, packing, and palletizing within a fast-paced, supportive environment.

You’ll learn on the job, work with new technologies, and contribute to quality, safety, and continuous improvement. The role offers day-shift hours (5:00 AM–1:30 PM) with overtime as needed, plus strong benefits and ESOP-aligned

Qualifications

• Previous manufacturing and/or technical experience including knowledge of safety procedures and good manufacturing practices preferred
• Prior experience with sauce production and/or dairy preferred
• Experience using forklift and/or pallet preferred
• Able to safely work around food products, which may include common allergens such as dairy
• M–F, 1st Shift, 5:00AM – 1:30PM, plus overtime as needed
• Lift up to 50 lbs
• Stand, walk, bend, twist for up to 8 hours

Responsibilities

• You confidently operate and monitor key packaging line equipment such as case packers, shrink sleevers, cooling tunnels, and palletizers to keep production running smoothly.
• Throughout each shift you make the team better by being a present, productive and considerate team member.
• Your openness to feedback and desire to improve means you help the team meet important KPI’s and experience continual growth.
• You’ve maintained a safe, hygienic work environment with zero safety incidents by consistently applying GMPs, allergen management, and sanitation standards.
• You’ve demonstrated care for your teammates’ safety and reinforced safe practices at every step.
• Each day you perform quality line checks ensuring safe machinery and product for our customers.
• You safely and effectively operate machinery and equipment – always remembering to stay attentive to your task at hand.
• Your movement through the Flavor Factory demonstrates your acute awareness of your surroundings, ensuring your safety and the safety of fellow team members.
• As you are completing your tasks, you are keeping others on the line in the know so they can be prepared for ‘what’s next’ and keep the flow of work on track.

• Product Perfectionist: Every day, you set up your workstation, review the production schedule for the day ahead using the HMI (Human Machine Interface), perform quality checks and validations and get to work! Your ability to learn quickly, execute tasks with high accuracy, and willingness to roll up your sleeves to pitch in as needed results in great operational efficiency and quality work.
