The Processing Supervisor will supervise and lead the assigned area of the operations section of manufacturing and ensure safe and effective processing of human tissue grafts for transplantation.
Minimum Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- At least two years of experience in musculoskeletal allograft processing, or a minimum of one year of prior team lead or supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment.
Work Environment And Physical Activities
- Requires heavy lifting, continuous standing, and is physically demanding.
- May require working around high magnetic circuits or magnetic fields.
- Requires good eye-hand coordination skills.
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree.
- Certified Tissue Bank Specialist (CTBS) certification.
- Knowledge of processing anatomy, sterile techniques, and medical terminology.
- Demonstrated ability to report numbers accurately and monitor error control.
- Technical and professional expertise in solving problems, analyzing issues, and fostering innovation.
- Developing and coaching skills to help others reach their fullest potential.
- Six Sigma Green Belt certification.
