Job summary

Solvita in Dayton, OH seeks a Processing Supervisor to lead the manufacturing area and ensure safe processing of human tissue grafts for transplantation. The role requires supervising daily operations and maintaining quality controls.

Minimum requirements include a high school diploma, 2+ years in musculoskeletal allograft processing or 1+ year supervisory experience, with preferred Bachelor’s degree and CTBS certification. Knowledge of sterile techniques and medical terminology is essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• At least two years of experience of musculoskeletal allograft processing, or a minimum of one-year prior team lead or supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• CTBS certification preferred.
• Knowledge of processing anatomy, sterile techniques and medical terminology.
• Demonstrated ability to report numbers accurately and monitor error control.
• Technical and professional expertise; solving problems, analyzing issues and innovation.
• Developing and coaching skills to help others develop to their fullest potential.
• Six Sigma Green Belt certification is a plus.

Sunday - Thursday 2300 - 0730

The Processing Supervisor will supervise and lead assigned area of the operations section of manufacturing and ensures safe and effective processing of human tissue grafts for transplantation.

Minimum Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• At least two years of experience of musculoskeletal allograft processing, or a minimum of one-year prior team lead or supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment.

Work Environment And Physical Activities

• Requires heavy lifting, continuous levels of standing and is physically demanding.
• Some areas of manufacturing may require the ability to work around high magnetic circuits or magnetic fields.
• Requires good eye-hand coordination skills.

• Bachelor’s degree.
• Certified Tissue Bank Specialist - CTBS certification.
• Knowledge of processing anatomy, sterile techniques and medical terminology.
