Job summary

Steel and Pipe Supply in Kansas is seeking a Processing Specialist to turn raw steel into ready-to-ship parts. You will bend or cut material with lasers and saws, then operate cleaning and inspection steps and load finished pieces onto trucks.

You must be reliable, thorough, and safety‑minded. The role offers a 2nd shift schedule (3:00 p.m.–11:30 p.m., Monday–Friday) with competitive pay, shift differential, and opportunities for overtime and company benefits.

Qualifications

• Must have valid driver's license.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• Must have basic math skills.
• Must have basic literacy for reading instructions and using hand tools.
• Must have basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Turn steel into parts by bending or cutting with lasers and/or saws.
• Clean and inspect parts, then load them onto trucks for shipment.
• Follow all safety policies and safe work practices.
• Assist with loading and unloading and maintain a clean work area.

What can you expect from the job?

• 2nd shift – 3:00 p.m.– 11:30 p.m., Monday-Friday

• Starting pay of $20.00 an hour plus $3.50 shift differential
