Job summary

Nutrition 101 LLC is seeking a Processing Worker in Wayland, MI to handle materials and prepare products per company standards. You will support quality, efficiency and safety throughout the production process in a hands-on role on the processing floor.

The position requires ability to work 1st or 2nd shift, including weekends and possible overtime, with PPE required and adherence to safety procedures. This role is in a fast-paced production environment with strong emphasis on safety and quality

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Able to follow instructions and pay attention to details.
• Must wear company-approved steel-toe shoes.
• Able to work in hot, noisy, or dusty environments.
• Able to lift 50-75 lbs and perform physical work.
• Willing to work different shifts, including weekends, holidays, and overtime when needed.
• Follow safety rules and safe work practices.

Responsibilities

• Follow company values and rules.
• Follow all safety, food safety, and workplace procedures.
• Arrive to work on time.
• Follow instructions from supervisors and work guidelines.
• Wear required PPE, including safety shoes.
• Clean containers, equipment, and work areas.
• Unload and handle food waste products (up to 40 lbs).
• Move products to the correct storage area and dispose of packaging waste properly.
• Prepare trailers for customer return.
• Report spills, safety concerns, or other issues to a supervisor.
• Clean and sanitize totes according to procedures.
• Attend required meetings and training.
• No jewelry or visible piercings allowed while working.
