Job summary

Nestlé in Springville, Utah is hiring a Heat Seal Operator to set up and run heat seal equipment on multiple production lines. The role involves monitoring temperatures, air pressure and seal times, recording outcomes every 15 minutes, and ensuring transfer points operate without product loss.

You will also handle packaging and occasional line interventions. Candidates should have basic English skills, 90 days of Nestlé food manufacturing experience preferred, and be able to work overtime.

• Restart lines when down and maintain proper line speed; assist with reworks.

Nestle in Springville, Utah manufactures Stouffer's Frozen Food. This location has six production lines producing food up to 6 days per week w/ two 10 hrs shifts daily.

Nestle is hiring for a Heat Seal Operator.

Primary Responsibilities

• Sets up and operates heat seal machine.
• Changes and loads film.
• Monitors sealing temperatures, air pressure, and sealing times.
• Checks for proper sealing and records findings every 15 minutes.
• Monitors transfer points before and after heat seal to ensure package transfer is completed without product loss.

• Operates Protein Detector machine and documents product rejects
• Loads pictorials into Kliklok and clears jams.
• Restarts line when line is down.
• Ensures line is set at proper line speed.
• Assists checkweigher with reworks.
• Models the Springville Compass in all work-related activities.
• Performs all other duties as assigned by Team Leader.

90 days of food manufacturing experience working in a Nestle factory preferred
