Job summary

Nestlé USA in Springville, UT is hiring a Model F Operator to operate the Model F machine and troubleshoot to ensure quality product across shifts. The role offers 10-hour rotating shifts on 1st or 2nd shift, with opportunities to grow within a global food company.

The ideal candidate will have basic English proficiency, be able to lift heavy objects, perform data entry, and meet food-manufacturing experience preferences. A high school diploma is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate the Model-F machine and troubleshoot to meet production needs and quality standards.
• Gather equipment and recipes before shift start.
• Ensure paperwork is complete and accurate.
• Eliminate cheese waste; fill scrap and WIP tickets.
• Calibrate scales when needed.
• Ensure cheese appearance is consistent with recipe and properly labeled.
• Remove condensation from surfaces and monitor for moisture.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Team Leader.

Nestle is hiring machine operators specifically the Model F Operator. The shifts are 10 hr rotating shifts on 1st or 2nd shift.

Job Description: Operates the Model F machine and troubleshoots as necessary in order to produce quality product to satisfy production needs throughout shift.

Primary Responsibilities

• 1. Picks up all equipment and recipes required to properly operate the Model-F for scheduled product before the start of each shift.
• 2. Ensures that paperwork is complete and accurate.
• 3. Eliminates cheese waste throughout the operation. Fills out scrap and WIP tickets at the end of the shift.
• 4. Obtains and calibrates scales when needed.
• 5. Ensures that the cheese (or other commodity) appearance is consistent with recipe standards and no off odors are present. Ensures that cheese and/or mixture is properly covered and labeled at all times.
• 6. Remove all condensation from walls, equipment, and ceilings before start-up and checks for condensation throughout shift.
• 7. Models the Springville Compass in all work-related activities.
• 8. Performs all other duties as assigned by Team Leader
