Job summary

BG Foods is seeking a Process Operator for Crisco in Cincinnati to operate Deodorizer or Refinery systems and produce Crisco vegetable oil and shortening. The role offers an 8-hour shift on 2nd/3rd (non-rotating) with potential move to a 12-hour shift.

Entry pay is $27.55/hr, with advancement toward $37.68/hr and fully qualified at $40.78/hr plus $2 premium. Responsibilities include GMP adherence, monitoring process variables, producing quality products, and teamwork.

Qualifications

• 3+ years related manufacturing experience or equivalent technical/vocational experience preferred.
• Selected individuals must have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, be highly motivated and responsible, and work well within a team environment.
• Use of computers and PLCs in a food processing manufacturing environment is required.
• Experience working with processing equipment is preferred.
• Must pass Math aptitude and become qualified as a mechanic or E&I

Responsibilities

• Follow all company Safety Rules and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP's).
• Monitoring and accurately recording temperatures, pressures, and rates of flow for upward or downward trends
• Produce high quality products in a safe and healthy manner.
• Ability to work as part of a team.
• Flow to work and assist fellow employees as needed.
• Loading and unloading trucks/railcars
• Perform analytical testing with lab instruments
• Performing required preventative maintenance and assist in the troubleshooting of potential issue
