Lamb Weston is seeking a Processing Operator Trainee for night shifts in Boardman, OR. You will operate and adjust processing equipment, monitor lineflow and waste, and implement line changes under supervision to ensure quality and production efficiency.
The role emphasizes safety, adherence to procedures, and the ability to work independently in a plant environment with variable temperatures and wet floors. Training is provided to develop essential skills in a large multinational setting.

The processing operator operates and adjusts all process equipment for smooth and productive operations; monitors lineflow and waste; corrects problems which affect quality and production costs; and makes line changes as directed by the production lead or team leader.

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Knowledge of plant operations and experience working around equipment is preferred.
Tools and equipment used are as follows: high pressure hoses, shovels, squeegee, hammer, and hazardous chemicals.
The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. Most job functions are performed inside the peeler, preheater and cutter areas. Constantly working on wet, slippery floors. At times, the temperature will rise to 100 degrees or over, high humidity, and lots of equipment vibration and noise.
Not to exceed 60 shifts worked.

This compensation is specific to this position and takes into account a number of variables. Actual compensation may be higher or lower in the range based on various factors, including, but not limited to a candidate's work location, job duties, experience and expertise.
