Job summary

Herbruck Poultry Ranch in Kendallville, IN is hiring for the IN - Processing IV. This hourly, full-time role focuses on maintaining product flow and compliance with quality standards on the processing floor.

You will set up materials, review run lists, start up daily operations, and ensure safety, GMP, HACCP, and animal welfare guidelines are followed. The role requires flexibility including weekends.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must be able to pass job required Observation and Assessment on LMS.
• Follows standard operating procedures (SOP) and training material requirements.
• Willing to work a flexible schedule to include weekends and holidays.
• Does not own or maintain routine contact with swine, birds, cattle, goats, sheep or unprocessed eggs.

Responsibilities

• Set-up material/machine according to the daily run list.
• Review and update run list.
• Initial startup of day for all materials to be used for packaging as assigned.
• Maintain cleanliness of area each day.
• Maintain customers guidelines and make sure they are being met on the floor.
• Monitor materials during product change to ensure customer compliance.
• Make sure work schedule followed on the floor.
• Complete daily paperwork.
• Ability to assign duties and direct members as needed.
• Follow all customer glove policies.
• Must follow all company HACCP rules and GMP.
• Ability to comply with the strictest standards for animal welfare and to report incidents of abuse neglect, or breach of biosecurity.
