Job summary

3M is hiring a Processing Operator I for its Indianapolis, Indiana facility. The role is on full-time 2nd shift (5:45am – 4:15pm) with a starting pay of $23.88 per hour plus shift differentials.

New hires receive 3 weeks of paid vacation and benefits start on day one, including health, vision, and dental coverage. As a Processing Operator I, you will maintain material and product standards, ensure proper testing and receiving, and communicate effectively with production teams while upholding

Your Skills and Expertise

To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:

  • Possess a High School Diploma/GED or higher.
  • Minimum two (2) months of previous experience of operating production machinery.
  • Working 8–10-hour shifts, overtime, extended hours, weekend, holidays (as needed), and short notice shift coverage.

Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:

  • Basic computer knowledge
  • 6 months to 1 year of operating production machinery.
  • Ability to read blueprints.
  • Knowledge of Inventory Systems.
  • Working a team/group
Pay & Benefits:
  • The starting rate of pay for this position is $23.88. This range represents a good faith estimate for this position. The specific compensation offered to a candidate may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, the candidate’s relevant knowledge, training, skills, work location, and/or experience. In addition, this position may be eligible for a range of benefits (e.g., Medical, Dental & Vision, Health Savings Accounts, Health Care & Dependent Care Flexible Spending Accounts, Disability Benefits, Life Insurance, Voluntary Benefits, Paid Absences, and Retirement Benefits, etc.).
