Job summary

3M in Cordova, Illinois is seeking a Production Supervisor to lead approximately 15 hourly shift production employees and ensure safe, efficient operations on the Cordova site. You will coordinate daily production activities, monitor performance, and drive continuous improvement across safety, quality and productivity metrics.

Expect to determine staffing deployments, prioritize tasks for the crew, and maintain compliance with company procedures.

Qualifications

• Five years of combined lead operator experience in private, public, government or military environments.

• Leading approximately 15 hourly shift production employees.
• Responsible for the safe and efficient execution of production Operations at the Cordova, Illinois facility.
• Determining staffing deployments and task prioritizations for the crew.
• Supporting Safety, Quality, and Productivity improvements for your assigned shift.
• Must be able to work a 12 hour rotating shift schedule.

Your Skills And Expertise

• High School diploma / GED or higher (completed and verified prior to start)
• Five (5) years of combined experience in a lead Operator role or equivalent in a private, public, government or military environment.

Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:

• Bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited university
• Experience in leading full-time, part-time, and contingent hourly production employees.
• Experience with SAP, and Microsoft tools (Excel, Word, PowerBI, etc)
• Skills include the ability to drive change and implement improvement plans for identified areas of improvement.

Location: On-site Cordova, IL

Shift: 12-hour rotating

Travel: May include up to 5% domestic/international

Relocation: Is not authorized
