Qualifications

  • 1+ years of machine operating experience in GMP environments.
  • Proficiency in machine operation and general production.
  • Experience with packaging and filling machines.

Responsibilities

  • Operate and set up filling, processing, and bottling machines according to procedures.
  • Ensure color, texture, and temperature meet requirements.
  • Communicate machine status and any quality issues to supervisor or Plant Manager.
  • Relieve other Machine Operators during downtime or re-assignment to maintain efficiency.
  • Perform basic troubleshooting and routine maintenance on machines promptly.
  • Report to workstation on time and wear proper work attire.
  • Assist in setting up work area and perform duties in compliance with SOP/SSOP.
  • Ensure operations meet HACCP, FDA, EPA, OSHA, USDA, WDA and customer requirements.
  • Conduct behavior in compliance with company policy.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Job Description

As a Dairy Processing Operator, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining sleeving and bottling machines. This role requires attention to detail and adherence to safety and quality standards.

Pay: $22/hr
Responsibilities
  • Operate and set up filling, processing, and bottling machines according to procedures.
  • Ensure color, texture, and temperature meet requirements.
  • Communicate machine status and any quality issues to supervisor or Plant Manager.
  • Relieve other Machine Operators during machine downtime or job re-assignment to maintain departmental efficiency.
  • Perform basic troubleshooting and routine maintenance on machines promptly.
  • Report to workstation on time and wear proper work attire.
  • Assist in setting up work area and perform duties in compliance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and Sanitization Standard Operating Procedures (SSOP).
  • Ensure operations meet quality and safety standards as per HACCP, FDA, EPA, OSHA, USDA, WDA, and customer requirements.
  • Conduct behavior in compliance with company policy.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
Essential Skills
  • 1+ years of machine operating experience in GMP environments.
  • Proficiency in machine operation and general production.

Additional Skills & Qualifications
  • GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) experience preferred.

Current Open Shifts:
1st Shift:
  • 11:00am - 7:00pm, Sunday - Friday with rotating day off
  • 4:00am - 12:00pm, Mon - Fri
2nd Shift:
  • 4:00pm - 12:00am, Monday - Fri
  • 12:00pm - 8:00pm, Monday - Sat with rotating day off
  • 1:00pm - 9:00pm, Sunday - Fri with rotating day off
3rd Shift:
  • 5:00pm - 1:00am, Sun - Thurs
Weekend Shift:
  • 5:00am - 5:00pm, Fri, Sat, Sun

The environment adheres to GMP standards with required attire including hair net, beard net, smocks, and steel toes.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Waukesha, WI.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
