Job summary

iDC Logistics Inc. in Walnut, CA is seeking a processing lead to monitor workflow, allocate labor, and ensure orders are processed accurately and on time.

Description

The processing lead will monitor workflow and allocate labor resources to meet production targets. Ensure all orders are processed accurately and completed within established timelines. Will coordinate with supervisors and management to prioritize workloads and resolve operational issues. Responsible for tracking productivity and identify opportunities for process improvements.

  • Train new employees on warehouse procedures processing and picking orders.

Quality Control

  • Verify that products are handled, processed, and shipped accurately.
  • Conduct audits to ensure compliance with customer and company requirements.
  • Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies, damages, and processing errors.
  • Maintain documentation and records related to warehouse processing activities.

Safety & Compliance

  • Enforce all warehouse safety policies and procedures.
  • Conduct routine safety inspections and report hazards immediately.
  • Ensure proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
  • Support compliance with OSHA regulations and company safety programs.
  • Participate in incident investigations and corrective action plans.

Inventory Management

  • Monitor inventory accuracy and assist with cycle counts and physical inventories.
  • Ensure proper storage locations and stock rotation practices.
  • Research and resolve inventory variances.
  • Maintain accurate system transactions and inventory records.

Communication & Reporting

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for warehouse associates during assigned shifts.
  • Communicate operational updates, priorities, and performance expectations.
  • Prepare daily productivity, inventory, and quality reports via email and WMS system

Typical Daily Tasks

  • Conduct pre-shift team meetings with the supervisor and warehouse manager
  • Assign work and monitor employee performance.
  • Resolve processing issues and inventory discrepancies.
  • Perform quality and safety audits within the processing dept.
  • Communicate status updates to management.
  • Ensure production goals are met before the end of the shift.
Requirements

Summary
