Job summary

Springs Fabrication LLC is hiring for a 2nd shift entry level Processing Associate in Colorado Springs. You will perform basic deburring, grinding, simple machine operation, and material movement under direct supervision.

Responsibilities include following written and verbal instructions, using common hand tools, maintaining housekeeping, and clocking into the ERP system as part of ISO-compliant procedures. Forklift certification will be trained and required for material handling.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 1–3 months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Must be able to follow simple written and verbal instructions.
• Must be able to work with a variety of common hand tools.
• Able to test and receive forklift certification for material handling.
• Safely and accurately provide material movement within Processing Department.
• Departmental housekeeping and preventative maintenance.
• Deburrs parts as required.
• Fills out and processes all paperwork according to standard operating procedures.
• Learn how to use and accurately clock in and out of current ERP system.
• Comply with Springs Fabrication, LLC. ISO procedures.
• Ability to learn the safe operation of overhead cranes.

This is a 2nd shift position, M-Th from 2:15 PM - 12:45 AMSUMMARYAn entry level position that performs basic manual tasks in the Processing Department under direct supervision. The main tasks associated with this position include deburring, grinding, basic machine operation, material movement and use of appropriate material handling equipment. This will be accomplished with proper training and supervisory approval. Position is responsible for departmental housekeeping and preventative maintenance.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.Must be able to follow simple written and verbal instructions.Must be able to work with a variety of common hand tools.Able to test and receive forklift certification for material handling.Safely and accurately provide material movement within Processing Department.Departmental housekeeping and preventative maintenance.Deburrs parts as required.Fills out and processes all paperwork according to standard operating procedures.Learn how to use and accurately clock in and out of current ERP system.Comply with Springs Fabrication, LLC.
