Job summary

Kinross’s Round Mountain operation in Nevada seeks a Processing General Supervisor to lead safe, reliable, and efficient day-to-day processing activities. You’ll coordinate with mining, maintenance, metallurgy, and technical services to meet production and recovery goals while developing a high-performing team.

The role emphasizes safety, continuous improvement, and operational excellence, requiring strong processing know-how and visible leadership across shifts.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; technical training in mineral processing or metallurgy preferred.
• 5+ years of processing/ore processing operations experience.
• 5+ years in a supervisory leadership role.
• Ability to lead crews and drive safe, reliable production in a fast-paced mining environment.
• Strong communication across all levels and adherence to policies.
• Experience with plant reporting systems and CMMS (JDE) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead a safe, proactive safety culture and environmental stewardship.
• Ensure compliance with procedures, regs, and site standards.
• Conduct safety meetings, field interactions, inspections, and follow-up actions.
• Coach and develop supervisors to build a high-performing processing team.
• Oversee daily processing operations to meet production and recovery targets.
• Coordinate with mining, maintenance, metallurgy, and technical services.
• Monitor KPIs, troubleshoot issues, and drive continuous improvement.
