Qualifications

1 year of processing experience with large archival/manuscript collections (internship, employment, or volunteer).
Familiarity with archival standards (DACS, EAD, MARC) and archival systems.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

Process incoming and backlog archival collections following professional standards.
Create detailed finding aids and catalog records; apply controlled vocabularies and authority files.
Manage collection workflows, assess processing levels, and support acquisition and appraisal activities.
Provide reference and instruction support as needed; collaborate with staff on cross-department projects.
