Qualifications

• Master’s degree in library and information science or equivalent.
• 1–3 years of experience in a library, archives, or museum setting.
• Ability to collaborate across teams and with external partners.
• Capacity to work autonomously and manage multiple tasks.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and quick to learn new systems.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
• Commitment to diversity, growth, and dynamic environments.

Responsibilities

• Arrange, rehouse, and preserve archival records across diverse formats.
• Describe collections and generate finding aids in ArchivesSpace; create MARC records.
• Appraise and accession new materials, reporting administrative details accurately.
• Contribute to collections management, space planning, and supplies monitoring.
• Participate in cross-department initiatives including digital exhibits and preservation.
• Attend unit meetings, participate in planning, and support reference desk as needed.
• Supervise, train, and manage archival student workers.
