Job summary

CRB is seeking a Process Utilities Engineer Intern for Summer 2027 in Denver, CO. You’ll work under a mentor to support the design and engineering of critical utility systems powering manufacturing operations in life sciences and food & beverage sectors.

The internship emphasizes hands-on project work, learning from industry leaders, and delivering real-world components such as PFDs, P&IDs, equipment lists, and utility summaries while building core engineering skills.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, BioProcess Engineering or Architectural Engineering
• Experience with Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneNote)
• Interest in the Food & Beverage or Life Sciences industry strongly preferred
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze complex data sets and develop actionable insights
• Must be willing to communicate and collaborate with multiple disciplines and other internal and external stakeholders (vendors, clients and contractors)
• Eagerness to learn about the AEC industry and apply academic knowledge to real-world engineering applications
