Job summary

CRB is seeking a motivated Process Engineer Intern to join our Raleigh-area team. You’ll work under a Process Engineer mentor on pharmaceutical, biotech, and industrial projects, supporting design, documentation, and commissioning activities.

You'll gain hands-on experience across manufacturing facilities, utility systems, and project deliverables while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and applying your academic knowledge to real-world engineering challenges.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's in Mechanical, Chemical, Bioprocess, or Biochemical Engineering from an accredited program.
• Available to work full-time during internship: May–August 2027.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneNote).
• Strong interest in Food & Beverage or Life Sciences industries.
• Excellent problem-solving and data analysis skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration abilities across disciplines.

Responsibilities

• Support Process Engineer mentor to develop and implement project deliverables.
• Work on pharmaceutical, biotech, food & beverage, or industrial projects including renovations and new construction.
• Assist with design documentation and coordination with other disciplines.
