Job summary

CRB is seeking an Entry-Level Process Utilities Engineer to design critical utility equipment and distribution systems for life sciences facilities. You will support documentation, coordinate with other disciplines, and assist field teams to ensure constructible designs as projects progress.

Under supervision from a mentor, you will contribute to process deliverables and learn to apply heat transfer, hydraulics, and P&ID concepts while engaging with cross-functional teams across design,

Qualifications

• ABET-accredited bachelor’s degree in mechanical, chemical or bioprocess engineering.
• 0 to 3 years of experience, preferably in a design firm setting.
• Fundamentals of Engineering exam registration or completion.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Supports the documentation of the design scope in coordination with other disciplines.
• Supports field installation teams and participates in construction site activities.
• Works closely with other architects, engineers and designers to ensure a coordinated, constructible and complete design.
• Able to work on one or more projects concurrently and manage time effectively.
• Solves complex problems under the direction and supervision of a mentor or supervisor.
