Job summary

Element Solutions Inc (MacDermid Alpha Electronics Solutions) is seeking a Process Technology Engineer to advance process and product development for semiconductor markets. You will collaborate with engineers and chemists to scale up chemistries and support manufacturing improvements at our site in Puerto Rico.

The role requires a BS in Chemical Engineering or Materials Science, 3–5 years in process development, and Six Sigma certification.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering or Materials Science; Master in Chemical Engineering preferred.
• 3–5 years in process development or providing technical assistance in manufacturing is a plus.
• Six Sigma certification (Green or Black belt) preferred; if not available, it will be part of development activities.

Responsibilities

• Ensure manufacturing processes meet quality and customer requirements.
• Support manufacturing issues with technical information and documentation.
• Scale up and qualify new products; validate process improvements.
• Implement and document changes per Management of Change; ensure regulatory compliance.
• Collaborate with Operations, R&D, Quality, and Product Management to meet business needs.
