Job summary

Parker Hannifin is seeking a process technician to assist with process development and troubleshooting across rubber molding and finishing operations. The role supports the Engineering group, participates in APQP/PPAP and product launches, and trains supervisors and operators on new equipment.

You will work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, apply best practices, and contribute to safety, quality, and waste reduction initiatives while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• High School diploma (or equivalent) with 3+ years of relevant experience.
• Working knowledge of rubber-to-metal adhesive systems.
• Strong problem solving and mechanical aptitude.
• Operator training experience including mold changing, mold cleaning, mold repair.
• Ability to understand engineering drawings, tool designs, tool maintenance, press and machine operation.
• Experience with waste-less and flash-less molding processes.
• Experience using personal computers and Microsoft Office.
• Good communication, project management, and interpersonal skills in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with Supervisors, Group Leaders, Production, Quality, and Engineering.
• Assist engineering trials for prototype, PPAP, APQP, and product launch.
• Create Standard Work and evaluate for waste reduction opportunities.
• Provide manufacturing and process troubleshooting support to defined area(s) of the plant.
• Maintain, troubleshoot and repair semi-automatic or automatic machines used to perform finishing operations.
• Assist engineering team with maintaining accurate process instructions.
• Maintain adherence to Company policies, safety/ergonomic standards and good housekeeping practices.
• Understand and implement the health, safety and environmental policies and integrate them into daily work activities.
• Other responsibilities as assigned.
