Job summary

Infineon Technologies in Leominster, MA seeks a Process Technician for the Process Engineering team to support backend semiconductor operations on site. Qualifications

• Completion of an Associate Degree or Certificate in Electronics Engineering Technology or equivalent is desired.
• High School diploma with electronics focus or related certificates may be acceptable with relevant work experience.
• Experience in hardware technology, preferably semiconductor or regulated environments (cGMP).
• Strong electro-mechanical fundamentals and analytical skills.
• Knowledge of backend semiconductor equipment (Wirebonding, Die Attach, Dicing, Sealing).
• Ability to work independently and take direction from engineering staff.
• Strong multitasking, prioritization, and ability to meet goals in fast-paced environments.
• Familiarity with production and quality control tools, lean concepts.
• Strong verbal and written communication and reporting skills.
• Proficient with MS Office; MES experience is a plus.

• Assist in the design of experiments and run tests.
• Compile and maintain documentation including test plans, procedures, results and reports.

• Drive and support continuous improvement activities.

International Rectifier HiRel, an Infineon Technologies company is theleading name in semiconductor high-reliability applications, includingundersea, space and defense. In our backend operation and design site inLeominster MA, we develop, package, assemble, test, and screen semiconductors,ICs, and modules to ensure that they meet the rigors of outer space, and otherharsh environments.

We are looking for a ProcessTechnician for our Process Engineering team. The successful candidate must be able to (1) Drive safety (2) Debug and troubleshoot complex backend semiconductor processes (3) Quickly, react to abnormalities and (4) work independently.

This technical professional will be part of a team to maintain and support assembly equipment throughout the manufacturing facility. This position is an on-site assignment and will report to the Process Engineering Manager.

This position requires access to documentation that is controlled by the export laws of the United States. Candidates are required to provide proof of either US citizenship, Permanent US residency or classification as a protected individual as defined in 8 USC 1324b(a)(3).

Your profile

Qualifications and skills to help you succeed

• Completion of an Associate Degree or Certificate in Electronics Engineering Technology, or equivalent is desired. Completion of a Secondary (High School) Vocational /Technology program with electronics focus, or a high school diploma plus work experience coupled with relevant industry recognized certificates may be acceptable.
• Experience in the hardware technology sector, preferably in semiconductor, electronic product operations, cGMP or a regulated environment.
• Excellent electro-mechanical fundamentals and possess analytical skills.
• Ideally, knowledge of backend semiconductor equipment and process including, but not limited to Wirebonding, Die Attach, Dicing, Sealing.
• The ability to work independently and take direction from engineering and or senior technical staff.
• Strong multi-tasking and prioritization skills, and effective in defining and meeting ambitious to stretched goals. Experience working in fast-paced and dynamic production environment.
• Familiarity in tools for production and quality control, issue resolution, continuous improvement, and lean concepts.
• Demonstrated strong verbal, written communication and reporting skills.
• Possesses good computer skills with demonstrated proficiency in standard business software packages (e.g., Microsoft Office, MES experience a plus).

In addition, all employees will be eligible to participate in an incentive plan.
