Job summary

TSMC Arizona’s Process Technicians operate and oversee automated systems that control wafer flow and tool performance in a 24/7 fab environment. You will respond quickly to alarms, analyze data, and collaborate with engineers to maintain stability and yield across complex modules.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, strong attention to detail, and comfort with a 12-hour shift rotation (days/nights) in a fast-paced manufacturing setting. Moderate travel and onboarding are included.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
• Solid computer proficiency (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Willingness to work 12-hour shifts, including nights, on a compressed 4-on/3-off or 3-on/4-off schedule.

Responsibilities

• Run Production Shifts: Operate and oversee automated systems that control wafer flow and tool performance.
• Respond with Speed & Judgment: Resolve abnormalities following SOPs and decision trees.
• Analyze Data for Insights: Use system tools and reports to identify patterns and trace root causes.
• Coordinate with Engineers: Collaborate to troubleshoot issues, stabilize processes, and improve line performance.
• Grow into Leadership: Develop into shift leadership and mentor junior teammates.
