Job summary

The Process Technician Internship at Solugen in Houston, TX offers hands-on exposure to EOR, MOR, MVR, utilities and blending operations within a startup‑like environment. You will support safe operation and learn from experienced technicians as you gain practical skills in process technology.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated mechanical ability preferred.
• Operational discipline knowledge preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate the board for EOR, MOR, MVR, Utilities and Blending Unit (start-up, normal operation, shutdown, emergency shutdown).
• Coordinate with outside Process Technician for unit rounds and line-ups.
• Assist with product loading and raw material unloading; troubleshoot as needed.

Mission

The Process Technician Internship reports to the Operations Manager and works with the outside and blending Process Technicians. It is responsible to make sure all tasks are carried out to safely operate the EOR, MOR, MVR, utilities and the blending unit. This position is located at our Minetta location in Houston, TX.

Responsibilities

Ideal candidate will be able to perform all duties of the Process Tech and additionally must be able to:

• Operate the board for: EOR, MOR, MVR, Utilities and Blending Unit which includes, but not limited:
  • Start-up
  • Normal Operation
  • Shutdown
  • Emergency shutdown
