Qualifications

• Knowledge of thermoplastics and injection mold types; strong reading of customer drawings.

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing Master Process Plans for consistent injection molding processes.
• Collaborate with Quality to document and maintain Master Control Plans (MCP).
• Set up molds per procedures and train technicians as needed.
• Ensure molding processes meet customer quality requirements and reflect First Article parts.
• Provide technical support for quality problems or customer complaints.
• Maintain a clean and orderly production area.

**Job Responsibilities:**Responsible for aiding in the development of Master Process Plan as assigned that will allow for a consistent injection molding processes providing customers quality parts; on time within the quoted cycle time and set labor standardsResponsible as part of a team in reviewing current processes to improve cycle times and/or part quality.Responsible for managing the proper set up of injection molds per company established procedures and aiding in training to set up technicians as necessary.Works with Quality to properly document and maintain Master Control Plans (MCP)Responsible for establishing molding processes to company standardsResponsible for insuring that all molding processes meet customer supplied quality requirementsResponsible for ensuring that molding processes are reflective of any First Article Parts, customer samples.Responsible for insuring use of specified raw material as per MCPResponsible for providing technical support to Quality for quality problems or customer complaints.Responsible for maintaining a clean and orderly production area**Qualifications**Education:High School DiplomaTechnical 2 year college degree or equivalent work experienceWork Experience:Minimum of 4 years of experience in injection molding processingWorking knowledge of types of thermoplastics and injection moldsKnowledge/Skills and Abilities:A positive can-do attitudeUnderstanding of injection moldingProficient in ability to set-up and create robust molding processesAbility to use computer and programs associated with performing job requirementsGood interpersonal skills both written and verbalAbility to make timely fact-based decisions; shows good judgmentProficient in the ability to read and interpret customer drawingsAbility to work independently and handle projects to completionYou should be proficient in:Injection Molding ExperienceMachines & technologies you'll use:Injection Molding Machine (Milacron, Nissei, Husky)
