Job summary

Growscape is a leading horticulture manufacturing company seeking a Process Technician to operate and support production equipment across the department. You will understand molding processes, set up machines, troubleshoot issues, and participate in color changes and mold changes.

The role emphasizes quality, safety, and lean improvements. The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or GED (preferred) and manufacturing experience, especially with plastic molding or extrusion.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Set up, repair, and troubleshoot manufacturing equipment and support equipment.
• Understand the production processes related to Plastic Injection Molding, Thermoforming, and/or Plastic Extrusion.
• Make mold changes, process adjustments, and color changes as required.
• Monitor automation to ensure quality production.
• Collect and inspect samples from molding machines and determine disposition per specs.
• Assist with process improvements and lean metrics.
• Perform other administrative tasks and special projects as assigned.

The Process Technician will know and understand the operation and process of all of the machines within their department or operational area and will set up, troubleshoot, and help operate all equipment within that department or area.Key ResponsibilitiesSet up, repair, and troubleshoot manufacturing equipment, ancillary equipment, and support equipmentUnderstand the production process as it relates to Plastic Injection Molding, Thermoforming, and/or Plastic ExtrusionMake required mold changes and process adjustments and complete color changes as requiredMonitor the automation of processes to ensure a quality production processCollect and inspect random shots from molding machines.
