Gentex Corporation is seeking a Process Technician II to lead production support, improve equipment efficiency, and ensure safety and quality in manufacturing environments. You will monitor controls, analyze downtime, and drive continuous improvement while mentoring hourly technicians and supporting new processes.

The role emphasizes problem solving, teamwork, and effective communication to resolve issues, optimize operations, and maintain detailed maintenance documentation across shifts.

Formación

• Associate or bachelor’s degree in engineering, technical, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
• Excellent project management skills.
• Ability to communicate difficult issues with others.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Overtime availability as needed.
• Strong troubleshooting skills and mechanical/electrical aptitude.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsabilidades

• Monitor and adjust equipment and process controls, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions to minimize downtime.
• Maintain records of downtime events with appropriate detail.
• Lead or co-lead continuous improvement initiatives.
• Develop and maintain documentation, SOPs, and preventive maintenance strategies.
• Track metrics and use data to propose improvements.
• Support engineering in developing new processes and products for manufacturing.
• Collaborate with internal groups and outside vendors to troubleshoot equipment.
• Mentor and develop hourly Technicians.
• Other duties as assigned.
