Job summary

Nordson MEDICAL in the United States seeks a motivated production team member to operate and support manufacturing equipment, enter data, and ensure traceability of materials.

You will perform setup, measure, load/unload, follow specifications, and participate in line housekeeping, with opportunities to cross-train and grow in a dynamic medical devices environment.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• 0–1 year of general work experience.
• General knowledge of mechanical functions.

Responsibilities

• Set up equipment and measuring devices for production.
• Enter data into information systems and maintain accuracy.
• Load/unload and operate machinery according to spec.
• Use tooling for assigned equipment and maintain traceability.
• Conduct basic troubleshooting and identify non-conforming material.
• Track production across shifts and maintain clean, safe lines.

Essential Job Duties And Responsibilities

• Set-up Equipment & Measuring Devices
• Enter Data in information Systems.
• Load/Unload & Operate Machine
• Use Tooling for assigned equipment.
• Use appropriate Materials (RM, SA, FG) and maintain traceability.
• Basic Troubleshooting
• Follow specifications and record P&P data.
• Identify non-conforming material.
• Track production through shift (VDM)
• Achieve standards & Doc Issues
• Cross train on other equipment
• Maintain a cleaning working environment & Line clearances.

Education And Experience Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED Equivalent preferred.
• May require 0-1 year of general work experience.
• General knowledge of mechanical functions.

Skills And Abilities

• Able to detect defects at 12" distance.
• Able to Lift 50 Pounds.
• Able to read/understand WI.
• Use of Basic Measuring equipment.
• Basic computer skills (entry & navigation).
• Attention to details.
• Basic Understanding of concepts (What).
• Basic troubleshooting & escalation as needed.
• Awareness of Lean/NBS.
• Identification of safety/environmental issues.
