Job summary

T1 Energy is hiring a Process Technician I to support daily manufacturing operations at our Wilmer, Texas facility. You will monitor equipment, perform inspections, follow SOPs, and assist with troubleshooting under supervision, while maintaining accurate records and contributing to 5S and standardized work practices.

Ideal candidates have a technical diploma or associate degree and 0–2 years in a manufacturing setting.

Qualifications

• Technical diploma, certificate, or associate degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or Manufacturing.
• 0–2 years of experience in a manufacturing or technical environment preferred.
• Basic understanding of manufacturing processes, equipment operation, or industrial production environments.
• Ability to use hand tools, measuring instruments, and basic computer systems.
• Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Good communication, reliability, and willingness to learn in a shift-based environment.

Responsibilities

• Conduct daily equipment and process inspections to ensure normal operation and promptly report abnormalities.
• Follow SOPs, work instructions, and process standards.
• Assist in troubleshooting basic equipment or process issues under guidance of senior technicians, engineers, or supervisors.
• Accurately complete production, quality, and maintenance-related records.
• Collect process and quality data as required and support data entry into MES or other tracking systems.
• Support line changeovers, process checks, and routine operational verification activities.
• Participate in process incident reviews and communicate abnormalities or recurring issues to leadership.
• Maintain assigned work areas in accordance with 5S and workplace organization standards.
• Support the development and sustainment of standardized work practices.
• Participate in basic continuous improvement activities and support implementation of process changes.
• Follow all environmental, health, and safety (EHS) requirements, including proper PPE and safe work practices.
• Assist in training support activities as assigned.
• Perform additional duties and special projects as assigned by management.
