Job summary

T1 Energy Inc. is building a domestic solar manufacturing footprint in Texas. We are seeking an Electrical Technician to lead troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of advanced electrical systems within our 5GW solar module facility in Wilmer.

The role includes hands-on training for junior technicians and proactive equipment upkeep. You will assess facility conditions, propose upgrades, and oversee small capital improvement and O&M projects while ensuring compliance with NFPA, NEC, and OSHA

Qualifications

Journeyman license required.
Strong knowledge of NFPA, NEC, and OSHA standards.
Experience in renewable energy, manufacturing, or cleanroom environments.
Ability to stand for a 12-hour shift.
Ability to lift up to 75 pounds.

Responsibilities

Lead troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of plant electrical systems.
Provide hands-on training and guidance to junior technicians and maintenance staff.
Assess facility and equipment conditions and recommend upgrades, repairs, and preventive strategies.
Support small capital improvement and O&M projects.
Oversee work by external vendors, ensuring compliance with policies, OSHA standards, and codes.
Read and interpret diagrams, schematics, and manuals to diagnose issues.
