Job summary

Wacker operates a chemical plant in Eddyville, IA and is seeking a Process Technician to safely monitor the plant and perform packaging, sampling and light maintenance. The role requires strong adherence to GMP and safety practices, with training and shift work (swing days/nights every two weeks).

The ideal candidate has a High School Diploma and 1–3 years of relevant experience, good communication, and the ability to troubleshoot processes.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1–3 years of relevant experience.

• Ability to troubleshoot systems and processes.

Responsibilities

• Safely monitor the plant and perform packaging and sampling.
• Carry out minor maintenance and equipment lubrication tasks.
• Respond to emergencies and report unusual events to the Shift Supervisor.
