Job summary

CSP (Teijin Automotive Technologies) is seeking a Process Technician to drive productivity by optimizing scrap and rework performance, while ensuring strict adherence to manufacturing procedures. You will support multiple projects and collaborate with the plant to achieve TS16949 registration and target costs.

You will report to the Maintenance Manager and become an active member of the launch team, assisting in process changes, tool setups, and training to minimize startup costs and deliver

Qualifications

• Responsibilities include improving productivity through scrap and rework optimization.
• Support multiple projects and work with plant to obtain third party registration to TS16949 standards.
• Assist in set-up, process changes, and training of staff in processing standards.

Responsibilities

• Support project launch strategy
• Assist production in trouble-shooting
• Fill-in for supervisors as needed
• Assist engineering in implementations of new process or revised process changes
• Assist in set-up process after a tool change
• Assist in process improvements
• Support scrap/defect reduction process
• Participate in identifying open items and task forces
• Provide on/off-site support for pre-production builds
• Develop processes and tune-in equipment and tooling
• Review mold designs and approve TSA submissions as required
• Develop workflow and optimize processes
• Process monitoring checks
• Lead long lead process improvements and cost reductions
• Review project with Engineering Manager support
• Evaluate and implement process/product improvements
